All of my calls are painstakingly turned on a lathe and sanded to a high gloss. I cut my own slate and grind it down to the exact thickness. If it passes my scrutiny, the "Harrison" name is added and each one gets several coats of hand rubbed polyurethane, insuring retention of the high gloss. Many man hours are placed into each and every Harrison Game Call, I'm proud to put my name on each one. I guarantee you won't find a better built, better sounding call. You have my word on it and I'll back up everything I ship out... |

Osage Orange goes by many names; Bois d'Ark, Bodark and Hedge Apple are just a few. I harvest alot of this wood myself, right here in Mays County, Oklahoma. Osage Orange is the hardest of all native hardwoods and I guarantee it will dull any chisel you'd put to it. It takes longer to create a call from this wood, but every second is worth it. Once you put a striker to this class act, you'll know what I mean. It's loud enough for to be used as a locator call on windy days, yet subtle enough to "sweet talk" a longbeard into your lap. This call will reproduce the entire vocabulary of a hen turkey. Awesome yet different from any slate call out there!

Not just for BBQ'n anymore. This super hard wood makes some of the truest sounds you'll hear. It is very similar to the Osage in density and is going to be very popular. I made one of these upon request early this Spring and after running it a couple of times I knew I had another winner. Super Loud or ultra quiet, all with a little rasp. |
Sassafras is a favorite amongst collectors. When you're cutting it, you can smell the old "rootbeer" smell. It makes an excellent yelp and is probably the softest sweet talker I make. |
Special orders are welcome, just email me the particulars and we'll see what can be done. |

This new addition to the Harrison line of calls is made of black walnut. It's a very soft and seductive sounding call, sure to lure in the most amourous of toms. It has a beautiful rich color to it and deserves a place in any vest. |
This is another of the super hardwoods. Gets is name abviously from the color. It is truly beautiful heavy and dense. The grain turns very much like Bocote and matches it yelp for cluck. |
I'll let the picture do the talking for the Cherry Slate. It won 3rd in the Working Call Catagory this year at the 2004 NWTF Grand Nationals. The cherry has the perfect blend of loud and mellow, with just enough rasp to get the longbeards "Fired Up" |
I've found a pretty good suppy of Persimmon and believe me it is one of my Favorites for both Slate and Crystal!!! This is some great wood that hits all the notes right in the middle range!!!! |
